What trade are you currently practicing?
Electrical
What made you want to start a trade?
I always thought tradies where so cool when I was a little kid and I always wanted to do something someone told me I couldn’t do.
What would you say to any other women out there that want to pick up a trade?
Do not let other people doubts stop you, you can do anything you out your mind to, girl or not, and we are all here to support and help each other through it.
What do you love the most about CAT?
I love that CAT makes such an effort to find out what women like, workwear wise and are doing so much to embrace women into the trade, CAT has the girls backs.
What do you find challenging about being in a male dominating industry?
The way that people treat me being a female in the trade when I first started was disgusting, for people to look at you and judge you just for being a girl, the comments and people trying to harass me.
But at the end of the day when I set my mind to it I’m not going to give up and I’m not going to let people get in my way or try to stop me, the girls are taking over and it’s time that people start to accept it.
